Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the quality engineering team and ensure achievement of quality objectives.
- Develop and implement quality assurance systems in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Monitor customer quality performance (PPM, rejection rate, warranty issues) and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead customer complaint investigations using 8D methodology and ensure timely closure.
- Review and approve PPAP documents, control plans, PFMEA, process flow diagrams, and inspection standards.
- Coordinate with customers during audits, new product development, and quality reviews.
- Lead internal process audits and supplier quality improvement activities.
- Analyze quality data using SPC and identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor calibration systems and ensure compliance with measurement standards.
- Support new product launches by ensuring quality readiness.
- Mentor and train Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Operators.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Design, and Purchase departments to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare monthly quality performance reports and present them to management.
- Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Kaizen methodologies.
- Manage supplier quality performance and supplier development activities.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of automotive quality systems and customer requirements.
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and Core Tools.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-handling abilities.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office.

Pay: ₹17,411.50 - ₹39,925.01 per month
Work Location: In person
