About the Role
We're looking for a driven Business Development Executive to generate and close recruitment mandates for UpRise Labs. In this role, you'll identify companies with active hiring needs and pitch our end-to-end hiring solution with clarity and conviction. It's a high-ownership, target-driven position, ideal for someone who thrives on outreach, builds strong relationships, and knows how to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients (HR/TA leaders, business owners, operations heads) with active or upcoming hiring needs across volume, technical, sales, ops, and leadership roles
- Generate and drive recruitment mandates through cold outreach, networking, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and referrals
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation → discovery calls → mandate scoping → negotiation → mandate closure
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools
- Hand off closed mandates to the delivery/recruitment team with clear role, level, must-haves, and timeline, ensuring a smooth mandate-to-joining handover
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify repeat mandates and expand hiring scope (volume, technical, leadership)
- Track and report on outreach activity, pipeline status, and mandate conversion metrics
- Stay current on hiring trends, competitor staffing offerings, and the broader recruitment landscape to sharpen pitches
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition — preferably in staffing, recruitment, or B2B services
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals independently
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
- Self-starter with a target-driven mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Understanding of high-volume and blue-collar hiring dynamics is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
