Qualifications
Any Degree (Ex-military, police, or paramilitary service is highly desirable.)
Experience
- Security Experience: Several years as a security officer (e.g., 2-5 years).
- Supervisory Experience: Previous experience leading teams.
- Background: Ex-military, police, or paramilitary service is highly desirable.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background check with no criminal record.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead and guide security teams during shifts, ensuring performance and adherence to procedures.
- Access Control: Manage visitor entry, vehicle access (ambulances, staff), and secure sensitive areas.
- Patrols & Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV, and identify security risks.
- Emergency Response: Act as a first responder for medical, fire, or security emergencies, initiating protocols and contacting outside agencies.
- Incident Management: Investigate incidents (theft, threats, vandalism), document thoroughly, and manage lost & found items.
- De-escalation: Use verbal and physical de-escalation techniques for disruptive patients, families, or visitors.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with hospital security protocols and safety regulations.
- Training & Drills: Organize and conduct safety drills and ongoing training for staff.
