Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused Dermatologist / Aesthetic Dermatologist to join our Skin Care Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological consultations, diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair and nail conditions, as well as medically appropriate aesthetic treatments.
The Dermatologist will work closely with the clinic's aesthetic therapists and other wellness professionals to develop safe, personalised treatment programmes that combine medical dermatology, skin health and aesthetic care.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dermatological Consultation & Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical examinations.
Diagnose and manage common and complex skin, hair and nail conditions.
Assess acne, pigmentation, melasma, rosacea, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, hair loss and other dermatological conditions.
Take detailed medical and treatment histories.
Identify conditions requiring specialist referral or additional investigation.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
2. Aesthetic Dermatology
Develop personalised aesthetic treatment plans based on individual skin concerns and patient expectations.
Perform appropriate aesthetic dermatology procedures within professional competence and applicable regulations.
Provide treatments such as chemical peels, medical facials, microneedling, scar treatments and other approved procedures.
Assess suitability for laser/light-based treatments and supervise or perform such procedures where appropriately trained and licensed.
Provide appropriate pre- and post-treatment care.
Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans when required.
3. Advanced Skin & Anti-Ageing Treatments
Acne and acne scarring
Hyperpigmentation and melasma
Skin rejuvenation
Fine lines and wrinkles
Uneven skin tone and texture
Enlarged pores
Photo-ageing
Hair and scalp concerns
Recommend appropriate professional and home-care products.
4. Patient Care & Safety
Explain diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, risks and possible side effects clearly to patients.
Obtain appropriate informed consent before procedures.
Ensure strict adherence to infection-control and patient-safety protocols.
Recognise contraindications and adverse reactions promptly.
Provide appropriate follow-up and aftercare.
Maintain a high standard of patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
5. Collaboration with Skin Therapists
Work closely with aestheticians and skin therapists to coordinate patient treatment programmes.
Train and guide therapists regarding appropriate non-medical skin-care protocols.
Clearly differentiate medical treatments from cosmetic treatments.
Review patients referred by therapists where a medical assessment is required.
Ensure therapists do not undertake procedures outside their permitted scope of practice.
6. Product & Treatment Recommendations
Recommend clinically appropriate professional skin-care products.
Support the clinic's retail skin-care programme through ethical, patient-focused recommendations.
Evaluate new dermatological and aesthetic products and technologies.
Maintain awareness of evidence-based developments in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
7. Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities
Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation.
Monitor treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Participate in clinical audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with applicable medical, regulatory and clinic policies.
Maintain appropriate records for procedures, consent and follow-up.
Participate in staff training and clinical meetings.
Qualifications
Essential:
MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
MD/Diploma in Dermatology, or an equivalent recognised postgraduate qualification.
Valid registration with the appropriate medical council in India.
Appropriate clinical experience in dermatology.
Desirable:
Additional qualification/training in Aesthetic Medicine or Cosmetic Dermatology.
Training in lasers, chemical peels, microneedling and other aesthetic procedures.
Experience in premium/luxury skin-care clinics or medical spas.
Experience with international professional skin-care brands.
Experience
Preferred: 3–7 years of post-qualification experience in dermatology, aesthetic dermatology or a premium skin-care clinic.
Candidates with strong clinical expertise and relevant aesthetic dermatology experience may also be considered.

Working Conditions
Full-time
Clinic-based position
Flexible working hours depending on clinic requirements
Weekend/evening availability might be required
Compensation
Salary : Competitive and commensurate with qualifications, experience and scope of responsibilities.
We are open for both Partnership agreement as well as salary based contract.
Additional performance-based incentives will be offered based on clinic policy.
About the Role
This position is ideal for a dermatologist who has strong medical expertise with an interest in aesthetic dermatology and premium skin care and who can contribute to developing the clinic into a trusted destination for evidence-based skin health and aesthetic treatments.
The successful candidate is expected to uphold the highest standards of medical ethics, patient safety, confidentiality and professional care at all times.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
