About Us: We are a premium jewellery store located in the heart of Whitefield, Bengaluru, dedicated to crafting exquisite gold and diamond collections. We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our front-office and retail team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Invoicing: Generate accurate invoices and bills for gold, diamond, and silver purchases, applying current metal rates and making/wastage calculations.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and digital transactions (UPI/NetBanking).
- Balancing & Reconciliation: Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of every shift, ensuring zero discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Assist walk-in customers with basic queries and provide a smooth, professional checkout experience.
- Inventory & Stock: Coordinate with the sales and store manager regarding gold weights, hallmarking details, and daily stock tallying.
- Requirements:Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail cashiering or billing (experience in a jewellery showroom or gems & retail industry is highly preferred).
- Strong numerical accuracy and basic accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and computerized POS/billing software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi (preferred).High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to handle high-value transactions.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
