The Office Manager cum Student Counsellor will be responsible for managing daily office operations while providing professional counselling and support to students interested in overseas education programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administration.
- Maintain student records, files, and office documentation.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-up activities.
- Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins.
- Prepare reports and maintain databases.
- Support management with administrative and operational tasks.
- Ensure a professional and welcoming office environment.
Student Counselling
- Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities, language courses, and career pathways.
- Guide students through admission procedures and application processes.
- Provide information about universities, colleges, and visa requirements.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain lead records.
- Assist students in preparing necessary documentation.
- Conduct orientation sessions and educational seminars.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in administration, counselling, education consultancy, or customer service.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, or other languages is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Positive attitude and strong customer-service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in overseas education consultancy or educational institutions.
- Knowledge of student visa procedures and international admissions.
- Experience in sales, counselling, or customer relationship management.
