As we expand our Sports Equipment Division, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Executive to help grow our dealer network, increase equipment sales, and strengthen our presence across India.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated sales professional with experience in B2B sales, distributor management, dealer development, retail sales, or sporting goods. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, managing sales activities, and achieving revenue targets.
Candidates with experience in sports, fitness, retail, lifestyle products, or premium consumer goods are encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across India.
- Generate sales through dealers, distributors, sports academies, clubs, retailers, schools, colleges, and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and channel partners.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and client meetings.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Expand dealer and distributor network across assigned territories.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure regular follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.
- Provide product knowledge and recommend suitable equipment solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch, and after-sales support.
- Resolve customer queries professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Market Development
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Support promotional campaigns, tournaments, exhibitions, and product launch events.
- Increase brand visibility through dealer engagement and sports community initiatives.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain daily sales reports and customer database.
- Update CRM with leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Retail Sales, Channel Sales, Dealer Development, or Sporting Goods Sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong customer-focused approach with a target-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.
