About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing outsourcing team. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes for US-based entities across various industries. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, excellent analytical abilities, and the confidence to communicate directly with international clients.
This position offers significant exposure to global accounting practices, client interaction, and financial statement finalization for overseas businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete bookkeeping and accounting functions for US-based clients.
- Review and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and month-end closing activities.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Prepare management reports and financial summaries for client review.
- Coordinate directly with foreign clients through virtual meetings, emails, and calls.
- Maintain accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards and client requirements.
- Assist in process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices.
- Support junior team members by reviewing work and providing technical guidance.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables while maintaining high accuracy standards.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducational Qualifications
- CA Final (Appeared / Dropout) preferred
- B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), CMA, ACCA, CPA aspirants, or equivalent qualifications may also apply.
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds will be considered provided they possess strong accounting knowledge and relevant experience.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or outsourcing operations.
- Experience handling international accounting assignments will be an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to US accounting processes is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Experience in accounting finalization and month-end/year-end closure activities.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Communication Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Ability to confidently interact with US-based clients and stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
