This role will play a key role in supporting the Marketing team with financial insight, spend tracking, and planning. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Business Partner and wider FP&A team to deliver effective cost control, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
What you’ll be doing:
Support marketing spend tracking and forecasting, ensuring alignment to budgets and providing timely visibility of cost commitments, phasing, and variances against plan.
Own data gathering and validation from Marketing stakeholders, ensuring accuracy of inputs for forecasts, actuals, and budget submissions into OneStream.
Build and maintain simple, robust financial models to evaluate marketing investments, campaign ROI, and brand spend effectiveness.
Deliver monthly marketing performance analysis, linking spend to brand and commercial outcomes and highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
Support month-end close activities for marketing cost areas, including transaction coding validation in SAP/BW and preparation of variance commentary.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and presentations for communication to Marketing leadership and wider Finance stakeholders.
Support initial brand analysis and commentary, translating financial data into clear, structured messages that marketing teams can use in their decision-making.
Learn and apply financial analysis techniques with support from the FP&A Manager and Senior Marketing Business Partner, developing capability in commercial finance over time.
What you’ll bring:
CA/ICWA/ACCA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent fully qualified with 2+ years of relevant experience; with years of relevant finance experience.
Experience in FP&A or commercial finance roles, with exposure to marketing cost analysis, campaign economics, or brand finance considered a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – able to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-finance audiences, build trusted relationships with Marketing teams, and influence decisions through insight rather than seniority.
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to handle and interpret high volumes of data from multiple sources accurately and efficiently.
Analytical mindset with a commercial curiosity – interested in understanding what drives brand performance, not just what the numbers say.
Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across Finance and Marketing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines with agility and precision.
Detail-oriented with a track record of accuracy in financial reporting and data management, desirable having familiarity with SAP, BW, or OneStream (or equivalent ERP/EPM systems).
