Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and organized Service Coordinator to manage and coordinate service activities, ensuring timely and effective customer support. The role acts as a key link between customers, service engineers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of installation, maintenance, and breakdown service activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Planning & Coordination
- Receive, register, and track customer service requests.
- Schedule service engineers for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown calls.
- Coordinate site visits, travel arrangements, and logistics.
- Monitor service calls and ensure timely closure.
Customer Communication
- Act as the primary contact for service-related customer coordination.
- Provide updates regarding service schedules, engineer visits, and call status.
- Handle customer queries and escalate technical concerns to the relevant teams.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain service call logs, job cards, and service reports.
- Ensure timely submission of service reports by field engineers.
- Prepare service MIS reports and performance dashboards.
- Track AMC schedules, preventive maintenance, and renewals.
Spare Parts & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and service teams for spare part availability.
- Follow up on material dispatch, returns, and consumption records.
- Coordinate with finance for service billing and documentation.
Process Compliance
- Ensure adherence to service procedures and documentation standards.
- Support audits and management reviews.
- Assist in improving service coordination processes and systems.
Required Skills
- Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronics service activities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and service management tools.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in industrial machinery, SPMs, manufacturing equipment, or industrial automation environments will be preferred.
