Job Summary:
The Steward will be responsible for assisting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate should have a customer-centric approach, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that tables are set properly and maintain cleanliness throughout the service area.
- Assist customers with any queries regarding the menu or products.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist in promoting seasonal products, offers, and new launches.
- Work collaboratively with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Steward or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
- Presentable appearance with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Strong teamwork and multitasking skills.
