- Machine Operation: Start, stop, and operate milling units (grinders, de-stoners, and polishing machines) safely.
- Quality Control: Adjust rollers and gates to achieve the desired grain fineness, checking product texture by feel and sight.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment inspections, lubricate moving parts, and resolve minor mechanical jams.
- Hygiene & Safety: Clean process machinery and workspaces to meet food safety and sanitation standards, preventing contamination.
- Inventory Management: Weigh incoming grains, measure final flour yields, and manage warehouse stock.
- Record Keeping: Log production metrics, machine down times, and raw material usage.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in noisy or dusty environments, and lift heavy bags of grain or flour.
- Technical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical processes, milling terminology, and basic troubleshooting.
- Education & Experience: Typically requires a High School diploma or an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification, paired with relevant hands-on milling experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) guidelines or equivalent regional safety regulations
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
