Position Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Technology Principal to join Our Solution Engineering and Architecture Leadership organization. This senior individual contributor role serves as the primary technical authority for strategic enterprise engagements across global verticals. The role is responsible for translating complex business challenges into differentiated, outcome-driven solutions spanning Agentic AI, AI-Native SDLC, Cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering.
The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise in modern engineering practices with strong consultative and commercial capabilities, enabling them to influence CxO leaders, senior engineering stakeholders, and large-scale enterprise transformation programs. This individual will play a critical role in shaping strategic deals, driving technical credibility, and positioning UST as a leader in AI-powered engineering transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, solution architecture, and validation for complex enterprise opportunities across Cloud, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, and Agentic AI.
- Design and deliver compelling executive-level architecture presentations, workshops, live demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements showcasing AI-Native SDLC and Agentic AI capabilities.
- Partner closely with account teams and business stakeholders to define win strategies, shape RFP/RFI responses, and develop differentiated technical narratives for strategic pursuits.
- Architect end-to-end Agentic AI solutions including LLM integration, RAG pipelines, vector search, multi-agent orchestration, enterprise workflow integration, and governance frameworks.
- Advise customers on AI-Native SDLC transformation initiatives, including AI-assisted development, developer experience modernization, CI/CD optimization, observability, and intelligent delivery automation.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to CxO, VP, and senior engineering audiences, articulating business value alongside architectural depth.
- Represent UST as a technical thought leader at customer briefings, executive forums, industry conferences, and partner engagements across the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customer stakeholders, partners, hyperscalers, and ecosystem collaborators.
- Continuously evaluate emerging trends across AI, Agentic frameworks, foundation models, developer tooling, governance, and enterprise adoption patterns, translating them into actionable customer insights.
- Mentor and coach members of the SEALS organization, contributing to capability development, reusable assets, and architectural best practices.
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and innovation teams to channel customer feedback into roadmap and solution evolution.
Required Qualifications
- 14–18 years of overall technology experience, including at least 5 years in pre-sales, solution engineering, enterprise architecture, or technical advisory roles.
- Proven hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade Cloud, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering solutions, with strong exposure to production-scale Agentic AI or LLM-powered systems.
- Strong foundation in software engineering excellence and modern architecture practices, including Well-Architected Frameworks, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), observability, reliability engineering, and secure-by-design principles.
- Demonstrated success supporting and closing strategic enterprise engagements valued at $1M+.
- Deep experience with one or more hyperscaler ecosystems: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including containerized and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Strong understanding of AI-Native SDLC practices, including AI-assisted coding, developer productivity tooling, CI/CD modernization, and intelligent software delivery workflows.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with the ability to develop, review, and demonstrate production-quality code in customer-facing scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, model evaluation, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent ecosystems.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both executive and deeply technical audiences, influencing decisions through clarity, credibility, and business alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active participation in the AI and developer community through speaking engagements, technical publishing, open-source contributions, or thought leadership initiatives.
- Experience in a Big 4 consulting firm, global systems integrator, or enterprise product organization with exposure to India, GCC, or global regional markets.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, AI governance frameworks, and emerging regulatory standards such as the EU AI Act and India DPDP.
- Experience with AI benchmarking, evaluation frameworks, model selection strategies, and enterprise AI adoption methodologies.
- Relevant cloud and AI certifications such as AWS ML Specialty, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Google Professional ML Engineer.
