Doctor Counsellor – Indian Doctors & FMGE Doctors
SALAF GROUP is hiring Doctor Counsellors to counsel Indian doctors, FMGE doctors, foreign medical graduates, nurses, caregivers, and healthcare professionals for overseas education, licensing, residency, registration, and international career pathways.
This is a non-clinical counselling and admissions role. The candidate will guide healthcare professionals regarding suitable career pathways, eligibility, documentation, licensing process, country options, and admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel Indian doctors, FMGE doctors, foreign medical graduates, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
- Explain overseas medical career pathways, licensing exams, registration process, documentation, timelines, and fees.
- Evaluate candidate profiles and suggest suitable countries or programs.
- Speak with leads through phone, WhatsApp, video call, and office counselling.
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert them into admissions.
- Coordinate with documentation, finance, and admissions teams.
- Maintain daily follow-up records in CRM / tracker.
- Build trust with candidates and parents through professional medical knowledge and communication.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission conversion targets.
- Support webinars, seminars, and medical career awareness sessions when required.
Eligibility
- MBBS doctors from India can apply.
- FMGE-passed doctors / Foreign Medical Graduates can apply.
- Doctors awaiting clinical practice opportunities but interested in healthcare counselling can apply.
- Good English communication is required.
- Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, or other regional languages will be an advantage.
- Prior experience in counselling, admissions, medical education, healthcare recruitment, or study abroad will be preferred.
- Fresh doctors and healthcare graduates with strong communication skills can also apply.
Salary & Incentives
- Starting salary: ₹20,000 per month
- Incentive: ₹10,000 per successful conversion
- Incentive will be applicable for confirmed admissions / enrolled candidates as per company policy.
- High-performing candidates can earn strong monthly incentives based on conversions.
