Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to manage and execute electrical projects from planning through commissioning. The candidate will be responsible for project execution, procurement of electrical materials, coordination of testing and commissioning activities, tender preparation, tender evaluation, and pre-qualification documentation. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities Project Execution
- Plan, supervise, and monitor electrical installation works at project sites.
- Ensure projects are completed within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and site documentation.
Procurement & Material Management
- Identify project material requirements and prepare material requisitions.
- Source and procure electrical equipment and materials from approved vendors.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain procurement records and inventory control.
Testing & Commissioning
- Arrange testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with testing agencies and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit testing and commissioning reports.
Tendering & Business Development
- Study tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial bids for new tenders.
- Conduct tender analysis and risk assessment.
- Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents as per tender requirements.
- Coordinate with management for bid strategy and pricing inputs.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare technical submittals, approvals, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, electrical standards, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain records of drawings, approvals, inspections, and project correspondence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical project execution, tendering, and procurement.
- Experience in HT/LT systems, substations, electrical infrastructure, industrial or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project documentation.
