Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical operations. The role involves managing IT systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, GMP), and supporting digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage pharma-specific IT systems such as LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and ERP platforms.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, and other pharma regulations.
- Oversee system validation (CSV) and documentation processes.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive pharma data.
- Collaborate with QA, QC, R&D, and production teams to align IT solutions with business needs.
- Lead IT projects for automation, digitalization, and cloud adoption in pharma operations.
- Provide training and support for end-users on pharma IT applications.
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage IT infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s in IT/Computer Science with pharma industry exposure.
- 10–18 years of IT experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing or R&D.
- Strong knowledge of CSV, LIMS, MES, ERP, and SAP systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (FDA, GMP, ISO).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
