We are hiring for professionals to manage the Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process under the No Surprises Act. This includes executive roles and a Team Lead / SME position (on paper for 6 months) to oversee compliance, documentation, and dispute resolution activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing claim documentation & evidence (EOBs, invoices, denial letters, payment records).
- Uploading files to the CMS IDR Portal (nsa-idr.cms.gov).
- Managing compliance checklists & timelines to meet statutory deadlines.
- Tracking deadlines across negotiation, initiation, and arbitrator decision phases.
- Organizing communication between providers and insurers.
- Assessing case complexity and defining task scope for each dispute.
- Preparing cost projections and resource planning for IDR disputes.
- Leading and mentoring the team as Team Lead / SME (on paper for 6 months).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in U.S. healthcare RCM, medical billing, or compliance.
- Knowledge of the No Surprises Act IDR process preferred.
- Familiarity with CMS portals and electronic documentation.
- Strong analytical skills for cost and workload projections.
- Leadership experience or ability to act as Team Lead / SME.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work U.S. time zones (night shifts IST).
