Machine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate CNC or manual bending machines to bend, fold, or shape metal components to exact angles and dimensions.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine material requirements, bending sequences, and machine settings.
Tooling Setup: Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and gauges for specific jobs.
Quality Assurance: Inspect and measure finished parts against blueprint specifications using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, protractors) to ensure zero defects.
Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment (e.g., cleaning, lubricating, replacing worn parts) to maximize machine uptime.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all workplace safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work area.
Documentation: Log production data, including machine settings, number of pieces produced, and any material waste or machinery issues.
