Maintenance Store Assistant

Job Purpose:
To assist in the efficient management of the maintenance store by ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance materials. The role supports uninterrupted maintenance operations by maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store maintenance spare parts, consumables, and tools.
- Issue materials against authorized requisitions and maintain proper records.
- Maintain accurate inventory in ERP/SAP and physical stock registers.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and assist in inventory audits.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and housekeeping of the maintenance store.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for material procurement and follow-up.
- Maintain records of inward and outward material movement.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and store procedures.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports related to inventory and stock consumption.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any Graduate.
- Certification in Store Management or Inventory Control will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in maintenance stores, engineering stores, or inventory management.
- Freshers with relevant technical education may also apply.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of maintenance spare parts and engineering materials.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP or inventory management software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
