oversees the secure storage, inventory, and distribution of medicines, ensuring strict compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). They manage inventory using FIFO/FEFO methods, maintain cold chain conditions, and utilize WMS/ERP systems to ensure accuracy.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to GDP and GMP standards, including temperature and humidity monitoring for safety.
- Inventory Control: Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of finished goods and raw materials, often with FEFO (First Expiry, First Out).
- Logistics Management: Coordinating incoming raw materials and outgoing shipments to customers or branches.
- Warehouse Operations: Optimizing layout, maintaining security, and optimizing 3PL/warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Team Leadership: Supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety protocols, and conducting training.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
- Experience: Usually 5–10 years in healthcare, pharma logistics, or supply chain.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in ERP systems (like SAP) and WMS.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and handling sensitive medical products.
