As an Entity Controller (LEC) in the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Controllers organization within Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) India, you will spend each day overseeing legal entity controllership activities and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial results and statements. You will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and the CIB Line of Business to support effective governance, well-controlled financial reporting, and regulatory expectations.
Our GF&BM CIB Controllers teams in Bengaluru are responsible for a wide range of activities including legal entity financial oversight, financial results and statement integrity, balance sheet and P&L governance, and continuous process improvement across controllership workflows.
Job Responsibilities

Perform monthly US GAAP accounting and reporting for EMEA legal entities (excl. UK), including month-end close, parent/child accounting, equity pick-up, capital hedge, inter-entity break reviews, and monitoring of unusual general ledger balances.

Own end-to-end month-end close activities, including FX trade-out, capital hedge, and EPU.

Deliver quarterly local GAAP regulatory reporting for EMEA entities, including liquidity reporting and VAT returns.

Liaise with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers with audit requests and documentation.

Supervise FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging activities.

Monitor daily controls and reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Prepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items.

Conduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis.

Analyze legal entity and line of business results through variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance checks.

Partner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders to manage revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and collaborate with regional controllers to resolve entity/LOB inconsistencies.

Drive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

CA, MBA, CFA, or CMA with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

Solid understanding of industry practices and accounting principles.

Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.

Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Familiarity with process transformation methodologies or automation solutions.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial products.

Knowledge of SAP, Axiom, WDesk.

Knowledge of Alteryx, Qlik Sense, Python, Tableau.
