Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineer Intern with strong foundations in frontend and backend development and a solid understanding of programming fundamentals. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building web applications, working with APIs and databases, and eager to learn and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications across frontend and backend.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and scalable frontend interfaces.
- Develop backend services, REST APIs, and server-side functionality.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and databases.
- Work with databases, data models, and third-party APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across the frontend and backend.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on feature development, system design, and technical decisions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Use Git and modern software development workflows.
- Contribute to deployment and other engineering activities as required.
Required Skills
·Full Stack Development
- Strong understanding of frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with React.js or similar frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of backend development, including server-side programming and REST APIs.
- Understanding of databases, including SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, API integration, and client-server architecture.
- Ability to build and integrate complete frontend-to-backend features.
Programming
- Good understanding of Python, including programming fundamentals and commonly used libraries.
- Good understanding of C++ and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Development Tools & Practices
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of software development and debugging practices.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building personal, academic, or open-source full-stack projects.
- Experience with technologies such as React.js, Node.js, Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- Basic understanding of Docker and containerization.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Linux and command-line tools.
- Participation in hackathons, coding competitions, or open-source projects.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies and work across different areas of software engineering.
