We’re Hiring | Mechanical Design Engineer – Packaging Automation

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in packaging machine and SPM design using Solid Edge. This role is specifically for candidates from the industrial automation/packaging sector — candidates with automotive, Jig or fixture design experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop 3D/2D mechanical components and assemblies for packaging automation systems.
Work on SPMs (Special Purpose Machines), applying knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and material selection.
Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) in SAP.
Collaborate with production, electrical, and project teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective design solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering
3–4 years of experience in packaging machinery/SPM design and modeling
Proficiency in Solid Edge (SolidWorks/AutoCAD is a plus)
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Prior experience in packaging machinery or automation industry
Candidates from automotive, jig, or fixture design are NOT eligible
