Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Vadapalani, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. The role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in accounting entries, and assisting with statutory and administrative financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions accurately.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Verify invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain petty cash records and monitor cash expenses.
- Assist in payroll processing and salary-related documentation.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory records as required.
- Maintain employee and vendor payment records.
- Generate monthly financial reports and assist in preparing MIS reports.
- Follow up on outstanding payments from customers.
- Coordinate with branches regarding billing and account-related queries.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Perform any other accounts or administrative duties assigned by the management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–2years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and accounting software (Tally, ERP, or similar).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation is preferred.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
