Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your design and modelling expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to the integration and delivery of infra sub-system design for various projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every detail. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Infra Sub-System Technical Managers, Design Leaders, and Construction Managers), analyze installation drawings, and ensure seamless design integration, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of authoring models and producing CADs to describe infra sub-system design intent, but also ensure clash detection and volume clearance checks.
We’ll look to you for:
Reading and analyzing installation drawings from civil work partners
Authoring models and producing CADs from the model
Ensuring sub-system design integration for wayside subsystem installation
Completing civil work drawings with sub-system data
Ensuring clash detection and volume clearance checks
Following instructions from the contract, BIM execution plan, or CAD manual
Using the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project-related tasks
Assisting the Construction & Delivery team in reviewing CW delivery in line with the integrated design

Degree in CAD design or a related field, with a focus on electromechanical systems
Experience in Mechanical and Electrical design
Deep knowledge of software such as AutoCAD by Autodesk, Revit, Navisworks, and Bentley (2D and 3D)
Understanding of interfaces with other systems, particularly with concrete civil work
Familiarity with infra products and solutions across various market segments (e.g., Tram, Metro, Mainline)
A proactive and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently when needed
