About the Role
We are looking for energetic and target-driven Sales Development Managers to HDFC bank.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Bank Branch Managers and branch staff.
- Ensure effective visibility and positioning of insurance products within assigned bank branches.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Generate quality leads through the bank's customer base.
- Conduct joint customer meetings with bank staff to drive conversions.
- Promote Life Insurance products such as Term Plans, ULIPs, and Savings Plans.
- Motivate and support branch staff to actively cross-sell insurance products.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, reviews, and training programs.
- Handle field sales activities across assigned branches and nearby locations.
Customer Engagement
- Meet customers for financial planning and insurance discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Build trust-based relationships with customers and address their financial protection needs.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate (Mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales (Any industry).
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, BFSI, Financial Services, Retail Sales, Telecom Sales, or Direct Sales is preferred.
- Fresh exposure to field sales will be an added advantage.

- Good communication skills (English and Tamil preferred).
- Basic understanding of financial products and insurance concepts.
- Ability to work independently and in a field-sales environment.
