- Production Planning: Execute daily and weekly manufacturing schedules to meet volume and delivery targets.
- Line Supervision: Manage shift operations and supervise production floor workers, ensuring optimal equipment utilization.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee the dispensing of raw materials and manage inventory levels for batches.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- cGMP/FSSAI Adherence: Ensure all processes comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.
- Batch Documentation: Maintain rigorous online documentation, including filling out Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packing Records (BPR), and calibration logs.
- Quality Checks: Conduct in-process checks (e.g., tablet weight variation, powder moisture content) and coordinate with Quality Control (QC) teams for product release.
Equipment & Process Maintenance
- Equipment Setups: Oversee cleaning, sanitization, and clearance of equipment before and after product changeovers.
- Troubleshooting: Coordinate with the engineering or maintenance department to fix equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
Safety & Team Development
- Workplace Safety: Enforce environmental and occupational safety requirements across the facility.
- Training: Train machine operators and helpers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), hygiene, and process discipline.
