Position Summary
The Campus In-charge is responsible for the overall academic, operational, administrative, and student experience at the Mumbai campus. The role ensures the effective implementation of TEACH's academic model, maintains operational excellence, supports faculty performance, and creates a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment.
The Campus In-charge acts as the single point of accountability for campus performance and works closely with the Centre for Teaching Excellence & Inclusion (CTEI), Examination Cell, Counselling Team, Placement Team, Administration, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Planning & Implementation
- Execute the academic calendar and campus timetable.
- Ensure timely implementation of all academic programmes.
- Monitor syllabus completion and learning outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to TEACH's academic policies and SOPs.
- Coordinate examinations, assessments, and academic reviews.
- Monitor attendance of students and faculty.
- Ensure effective classroom management.
- Coordinate substitute faculty arrangements.
- Ensure implementation of CTEI curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching methodologies.
2. Programme Oversight
Monitor the implementation of:
- English Development Programme (EDP)
- Skill Development Programme
- Social & Emotional Wellbeing Programme
- Graduation Programme
- Faculty Development initiatives
- Campus projects and co-curricular activities
Ensure programme quality, consistency, and learner outcomes.
3. Faculty & People Management
- Supervise Section Leads and faculty members.
- Conduct regular faculty observations.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback.
- Review KRAs and KPIs.
- Conduct monthly performance discussions.
- Identify training and development needs.
- Build a collaborative and accountable team culture.
- Manage staff discipline and attendance.
- Recommend rewards, recognition, and corrective actions.
4. Student Management
- Monitor student attendance and engagement.
- Address student concerns.
- Support behavioural interventions.
- Coordinate counselling referrals.
- Ensure student safety and well-being.
- Monitor retention and progression.
- Promote student participation in campus activities.
5. Parent & Stakeholder Management
- Build positive relationships with parents.
- Conduct parent meetings.
- Address escalated parent concerns.
- Coordinate communication with external academic partners.
- Support campus visits by government officials, corporates, and institutional partners.
- Represent the campus professionally.
6. Administration & Campus Operations
- Ensure smooth daily campus operations.
- Monitor infrastructure and classroom readiness.
- Supervise administration staff.
- Ensure availability of teaching resources.
- Coordinate housekeeping, security, and facilities.
- Monitor inventory and campus assets.
- Ensure statutory compliance and documentation.
7. Examination Management
- Coordinate with the Controller of Examinations.
- Ensure examination readiness.
- Monitor examination conduct.
- Ensure confidentiality.
- Support evaluation timelines.
- Ensure timely declaration of results.
- Coordinate Open House activities.
8. Quality Assurance
- Conduct operational audits.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Monitor corrective actions.
- Review student feedback.
- Review faculty feedback.
- Support accreditation and quality initiatives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and submit:
- Daily operational updates
- Weekly campus review reports
- Monthly performance dashboard
- Student attendance reports
- Faculty performance reports
- Risk and incident reports
- Academic progress reports
- Campus improvement plans
Maintain all operational records in accordance with institutional policies.
10. Leadership Responsibilities
- Build a positive campus culture.
- Drive accountability.
- Promote collaboration across departments.
- Lead campus meetings.
- Manage campus projects.
- Support institutional strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the operational leader of the Mumbai campus.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (Education, Management, Social Sciences, or related field)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in education or academic operations
- Experience managing teams
- Strong operational and administrative skills
- Experience working with inclusive education is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
