OPERATIONS
Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset
management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve
and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that
develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
OUR IMPACT
Interest Rates Product Operations is a critical control and support function for the Interest Rates Derivatives business, managing the
end-to-end trade life-cycle through its Middle Office, Drafting, Confirmations, and Settlement teams.
The Middle Office provides essential risk management by facilitating trade validation, enrichment, and exception management
immediately following execution to ensure books and records accuracy. The Drafting team is responsible for the precise preparation
and negotiation of legal documentation, including bespoke structured confirmations and ISDA standard templates. The Confirmations
team focuses on the timely execution and matching of OTC trade terms with external counterparts to mitigate legal and operational
risk. Finally, the Settlement team manages the accurate exchange of cash flows, manages payment obligations, and ensures the
finality of financial transactions.
Collectively, these teams provide comprehensive daily monitoring and operational oversight for a wide range of IRP products and
