Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to manage on-site technical execution, structural quality, and contractor coordination. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design blueprints and site reality, leading Junior Engineers and subcontractors to ensure construction proceeds safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Technical Leadership: Supervise structural execution—concrete casting, formwork, steel reinforcement, earthworks, and masonry—ensuring 100% compliance with approved GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and IS/BS/international codes.
- Design & Site Coordination: Review structural, architectural, and MEP drawings; raise RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design conflicts before execution.
- Team Supervision: Guide and mentor Junior Engineers and site supervisors; assign daily targets and monitor labor productivity.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Supervise field testing (slump, cube compression, soil compaction); inspect Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and material quality before pours; enforce HSE guidelines.
- Measurement & Billing: Certify subcontractor measurement sheets (JMRs), verify RA (Running Account) bills, and monitor site material consumption (cement, steel) against theoretical reconciliation.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly progress reports, material indent lists, and daily work logs for the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of direct on-site execution experience (high-rise residential/commercial, industrial, or infrastructure).
- Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced for BBS and billing), MS Project / Primavera basics.
- Key Strengths: Strong understanding of RCC structures, Bar Bending Schedules, site safety protocols, and subcontractor handling.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
