Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing.
You should be capable of independently handling testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure high-quality releases
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective
- Execute API testing and validate backend integrations
- Conduct performance, security, and compatibility testing where required
- Monitor test execution, prepare test reports, and provide release recommendations
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices across the team
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Experience testing cloud-based applications and micro-services architectures

Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
