Job Description:
Candidate should have strong Linux system administration experience with knowledge of AIX. Must be proficient in RedHat Enterprise Linux (versions 7, 8, 9) and SUSE (version 15). Responsibilities include troubleshooting Unix issues, handling OS upgrades and migrations, enterprise migrations across environments, clustering, RAID and LVM administration, SAN/NAS disk management, kernel compilation and patching, user and configuration management, and proactive system monitoring. Experience with VMWare vCenter is required. Knowledge of hardware platforms such as Cisco, Dell, and HP is expected. Candidate should also contribute to automation, SIP initiatives, and documentation with basic scripting knowledge.
