Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Medical Coding Auditors specializing in EM Primary Care or Laboratory Coding to join our growing Quality team. The ideal candidate should have strong auditing expertise, excellent coding knowledge, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of coding accuracy and compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 4+ years of Medical Coding experience
- Minimum 1 year of Auditing experience in EM Primary Care or Laboratory Coding
- Active CPC, COC, or CCS-P certification (Mandatory)
- Graduation in any discipline
- Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform coding quality audits and provide feedback to coders
- Apply medical necessity and coding guidelines while auditing charts
- Review medical records for coding accuracy and documentation completeness
- Query physicians regarding incomplete or insufficient documentation
- Identify documentation gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Manage day-to-day quality-related activities and ensure compliance with coding standards
