Job Purpose
Treasury accounting and reporting, including preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Ind AS standalone financials
Map IGAAP trial balance to Ind AS financials and prepare transition entries; Reconcile IGAAP and Ind AS for balance sheet and P&L items.
Preparation of Ind AS consolidated financial statements
Map IGAAP consolidated financials to Ind AS consolidated financials; Ensure elimination entries and reconcile consolidated balance sheet and P&L items.
USGAAP reporting and transition to IFRS
Assist in IFRS transition for NYSE/SEC reporting; Prepare Management's Discussion and Analysis under USGAAP.
IFRS systems implementation
Participate in system design discussions and user acceptance testing; Prepare Statements of Understanding for IFRS system implementation.
Foreign forward exchange contracts (Fx) accounting and reporting
Report FX P&L MIS daily and reconcile monthly financials; Perform month-end reporting and prepare quarterly MIS for CFO, ACB, and Board.
Derivative accounting and reporting
Report derivative P&L MIS daily and reconcile monthly financials; Prepare quarterly MIS and disclosures for USGAAP reporting.
Investments accounting and reporting
Report Investments P&L MIS daily and reconcile monthly financials; Prepare quarterly MIS and disclosures for USGAAP reporting.
Systems implementation
Participate in accounting-related design discussions; Provide accounting entries and conduct user acceptance testing for treasury systems.
Catering to adhoc requirements related to treasury accounting
Advise on accounting schema for new products; Address adhoc MIS requirements and set up accounting for GAAP/regulatory changes.
Education:
Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
Certifications:
IFRS certification (UK), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFAI, USA).
Key Competencies
Strong MS Excel skills, working knowledge of MS Access, fluency in English, knowledge of financial instruments, regulatory compliance expertise.

Indian GAAP and USGAAP Finance teams, MIS teams, Treasury Operations, Treasury Middle Office, Treasury Front Office, Market Risk.
