Role Description
Technical Lead / Senior Engineer (TL/SE) will be responsible for owning end-to-end hardware development lifecycle – architecture, electronic system design, obsolescence management, debugging, testing and proto-production. TL/SE will also be responsible for mentoring 1-3 engineers, creating design documents and ensuring compliance of products with industry standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD, etc.). Role requires creative thinking; ensure customer needs are considered and collaborate with the various other teams (both within & outside) to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture. TL/SE will work on multiple major projects requiring innovative solutions, adapting newer design ideas & technologies.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 7+ years of work experience with
- 7+ years of Hardware design & using Microcontrollers & FPGAs
- 4 – 5 years of High-Speed PCB design to cater PCIe, SGMII, USB3.x, DDR4/DDR5, 10G etc.
- 4 – 5 years of System Design with hardware & software
- Experience of testing and prototyping
- Should have hands-on experience of designs (schematic design, PCB layout), debugging (board bring-up) and realization of board level products as well as system (with hardware, software and mechanical).
- Strong Technical Knowledge, Excellent Communication skills, Ability to be flexible and proactive
- Experience of New Product Introduction, reworking design changes and upgrades through to production

Desired Experience
- To capture and specify the design requirements and the development and validation needed to deliver successful systems, products and components to meet/exceed the customer’s specifications
- Develop architecture, design circuits, schematic design, PCB review and create prototypes for analog, digital, and high-speed boards.
- Board bring-up, debugging using various test & measurement instruments.
- Complete design document creation including BOM, Test Documents, Debug Documents & Maintenance manuals.
- Motivate, guide and coach team members engaged in high-speed board design, electrical / system design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PCB, mechanical, software) and ensure product build-up to desired standards.
- Lead concept development in relation to design and creative outputs
• Ensuring that design and creative projects are delivered on time and to budget ensuring commercial success • Establishing and developing best practice with the design.
Additional Skills / experience (Not essential, but will be an added advantage):
- Knowledge and experience of DFMEA, FMEA.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and Six Sigma
- Knowledge on product lifecycle / design management.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools for process improvement
- Understanding of various (MIL-STD, DO160, DO254) applicable for Defence & Aerospace applications.
