Job Summary
Widle is on the lookout for a skilled Retool Developer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping our internal tooling infrastructure by developing and enhancing custom applications on the Retool platform. Our ideal candidate is experienced with MySQL and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions using Retool.
- Develop, customize, and optimize Retool applications to improve internal workflows and automate processes.
- Design user-friendly interfaces and interactive dashboards using Retool’s drag-and-drop features.
- Integrate data sources and APIs into Retool applications for data management and visualization.
- Implement best practices for security, authentication, and data handling to ensure application reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to resolve issues in Retool applications.
- Stay updated on Retool features and best practices to enhance our internal tooling.
- Work with other developers and end-users to gather feedback and iterate on applications to meet evolving needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Retool Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of Retool’s capabilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
- Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs for data integration
- Strong foundation in database systems and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable Retool applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
