Our Client Company is a fast-growing appliances brand with a strong presence across India. We are now evolving into a premium, design-led brand—and social media will play a key role in building our brand recall, relevance, and cultural presence.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Expert who understands the new generation—someone who lives and breathes content.
This is not a posting job. This is a content-first, idea-first role where you will be responsible for building Company presence through scroll-stopping content, strong hooks, and consistent storytelling.
You should know what works on Instagram, what goes viral, what converts—and most importantly, why.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
· Build and execute a monthly content strategy aligned with brand goals
· Plan content across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms
· Ensure a mix of brand-building + performance-driven content
2. Content Creation & Execution
· Conceptualize and create short-form content (Reels, Shorts, UGC-style videos)
· Write strong hooks, scripts, and captions that grab attention in the first 3 seconds
· Shoot or coordinate shoots for content (in-house or with creators)
· Work closely with designers & video editors to bring ideas to life
3. UGC & Creator Ecosystem
· Identify and collaborate with UGC creators and influencers
· Build a network of creators for consistent content production
· Guide creators on scripts, angles, and brand tonality
· Ensure content feels authentic, relatable, and not overly ad-like
4. Trend & Platform Understanding
· Stay updated with latest trends, formats, and platform algorithms
· Quickly adapt trends into brand-relevant content
· Understand what works for reach, engagement, and virality
5. Brand Building & Recall
· Ensure all content aligns with Longway’s brand identity and premium positioning
· Build a distinct voice and personality for the brand
· Focus on consistency → recall → trust
6. Performance Tracking
· Track content performance (views, engagement, saves, shares)
· Identify winning formats and scale them
· Continuously optimize content strategy based on data
What We’re Looking For
· Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, and short-form content ecosystem
· Ability to create hooks that stop scrolling
· Hands-on experience in content creation (UGC, reels, scripts, shoots)
· Strong sense of what feels native vs what feels like an ad
· Experience working with influencers and creators
· Understanding of brand building + performance marketing balance
· Creative thinker with a fast execution mindset
Bonus (Good to Have)
· Basic video shooting/editing skills
· Experience in D2C or consumer brands
· Understanding of memes, internet culture, and youth behaviour
Tools & Skills
· Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Meta tools
· Basic editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.)
· Content planning & scheduling tools
· Strong copywriting (hooks, captions, scripts)
