1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for doctors, nurses, paramedical, administrative, and support staff.
- Coordinate interviews, selection, background verification, and joining formalities.
- Ensure adequate staffing as per hospital requirements and department-wise manpower plans.
- Maintain a database of qualified candidates and recruitment agencies.
2. Employee Management
- Maintain employee files, HR records, contracts, and documentation.
- Manage attendance, shifts, leave, overtime, and employee schedules in coordination with departments.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
- Conduct employee engagement and welfare activities.
3. Hospital HR Operations
- Coordinate with Medical, Nursing, Administration, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Operations, and other departments on manpower requirements.
- Ensure proper onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Monitor employee credentials, licenses, qualifications, and required documentation where applicable.
- Support hospital management in maintaining adequate manpower for 24×7 operations.
4. Performance & Training
- Implement staff performance appraisal systems.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Coordinate orientation, mandatory training, and professional development programs.
- Maintain training records and support quality and accreditation requirements.
5. Payroll & Compliance
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, attendance, leave, deductions, and overtime.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate PF, ESI, professional tax, gratuity, and other applicable statutory matters.
- Maintain proper HR documentation for audits and inspections.
6. Policies & Employee Relations
- Develop and implement hospital HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure employees understand and follow organizational policies, code of conduct, and workplace rules.
- Promote discipline, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
- Assist management in handling employee-related legal or compliance matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably with hospital/healthcare experience.
- Experience managing a large and diverse workforce is preferred.
- Good knowledge of HRMS, payroll processes, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
