Internship Overview
This is a 6-month hands-on internship designed for high-potential food science graduates who want to gain end-to-end experience in beverage R&D, from bench-top trials to regulatory compliance and vendor engagement to commercial manufacturing.
Top performers from the internship will be considered for full-time roles at Libations Bev.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Engage in formulation trials, ingredient research, and product development.
- Run bench-top experiments, stability checks, and sensory feedback rounds.
- Work with the founder and labs to document results, learn best practices, and iterate.
- Contribute to sensory frameworks and rapid shelf-life studies.
- Support the development of product specs, ingredient sheets, and QA documentation.
- Help track regulatory guidelines (FSSAI) related to functional ingredients.
- Identify and evaluate raw material vendors – cost, quality, certifications, and consistency.
- Engage with ingredient, packaging, manufacturing & logistics vendors to learn supply chain basics.
- Shadow commercial conversations for scale-up and manufacturing readiness.

- Final year student or recent graduates (Master’s in Food Science/Food Tech or related field).
- Excellent research, documentation & presentation skills (not just Google-level digging).
- Hunger to learn and the maturity to own real-world outcomes.

This internship is designed as a 6-month full-time trial for a core R&D role. From day one, you will be expected to operate at the level of a junior R&D associate with guidance and feedback, but also with high accountability.
We are a pre-product startup, and that means:
- You’ll be building from zero, not maintaining existing systems.
- You'll work across multiple areas, from formulation to vendor management to compliance.
- You’ll need to demonstrate ownership, self-learning, and initiative to grow into a full- time role.
- The pace will be intense, the feedback will be honest, and your work will directly impact what goes to market.
