The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care and safe transportation of patients. The EMT responds to emergency and non-emergency calls, assesses patient conditions, administers basic life support, and assists in patient care during transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
- Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency care.
- Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures as per protocols.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information.
- Safely transport patients to healthcare facilities.
- Assist doctors, nurses, and paramedics during medical emergencies.
- Maintain ambulance equipment, medical supplies, and cleanliness.
- Ensure all medical equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Prepare and submit patient care reports accurately and timely.
- Follow infection control, safety, and organizational policies.
- Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified EMT/B.Sc Nursing/GNM/ANM (as applicable).
- Valid EMT certification from a recognized institution.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹30,016.61 per month
