Job Description
We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js and/or Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications for a US-based client. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building RESTful APIs, integrating databases, and developing cloud-ready backend services using modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and/or Python.
- Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of backend services.
