Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations, improve production processes, ensure product quality, and lead engineering projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily manufacturing and engineering activities.
- Lead production teams to achieve quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Prepare production schedules and coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Train, mentor, and guide engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.
- Conduct process audits and implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports.
- Coordinate with clients and vendors regarding technical requirements and project execution.
- Support new product development and process validation activities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing company.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, or industrial manufacturing will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC machining, fabrication, welding, or machine shop operations.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹84,012.30 per month
