Position: Forklift Driver

Job Summary:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safe handling, loading, unloading and movement of raw materials, finished goods and packing materials within the chilli processing unit. The role ensures smooth material movement and proper storage operations while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating forklift safely for loading, unloading and shifting materials within the factory premises.
- Transporting raw chilli, packing materials, finished goods and other inventory between production, warehouse and dispatch areas.
- Loading and unloading trucks, containers and transport vehicles carefully without damage to goods.
- Ensuring proper stacking and storage of materials in designated areas.
- Checking forklift condition daily before operation including battery, fuel, brakes, tyres and hydraulic systems.
- Reporting mechanical issues or maintenance requirements of the forklift to the maintenance department.
- Following safety procedures and maintaining safe driving practices inside factory premises.
- Assisting stores and dispatch teams during material handling and stock movement activities.
- Maintaining cleanliness and proper upkeep of the forklift vehicle.
- Ensuring proper handling of goods to avoid material damage, leakage or wastage.
- Supporting production operations during urgent material movement requirements.
- Maintaining records of material movement and forklift usage if required.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of forklift operation and material handling
- Understanding of warehouse and dispatch procedures
- Safe driving and loading/unloading practices
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Ability to work in production and warehouse environments
Qualification:
- Valid Forklift Driving License / Certification preferred.
- SSC or relevant experience in industrial material handling.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
