We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in ISBM (Injection Stretch Blow Molding) and EBM (Extrusion Blow Molding) machine maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production machines and associated equipment to maximize uptime, reliability, and production efficiency.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of ISBM, EBM, and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
- Minimize machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, trials, and equipment upgrades when required.
- Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
- Ensure timely replacement of worn-out parts and critical spares.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and service reports.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment issues.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize production losses due to machine failures.
- Adhere to safety standards, maintenance SOPs, and company policies.
- Ensure safe work practices during maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and equipment history records.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions as required.
- Prepare maintenance reports and submit updates to the Maintenance Manager.
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in machine maintenance within plastics, packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience with ISBM and EBM machines is mandatory.
- Experience with Injection Molding, Blow Molding, or related production machinery will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and maintenance practices.
