Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities and ensure achievement of production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Lead and supervise shop-floor operations across the respective division.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and production resources.
- Monitor production processes and identify bottlenecks, delays, and areas for improvement.
- Implement and drive Lean Manufacturing concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, visual management, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, work instructions, process parameters, and quality standards.
- Work closely with the Quality team to maintain process quality and minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Analyze production-related issues and implement effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor key production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, rework, downtime, OEE, and material utilization.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, PPC, Stores, Purchase, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Develop and maintain a disciplined and productive shop-floor environment.
- Train, guide, and develop supervisors, operators, and other production personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and statutory procedures.
- Prepare and review daily/monthly production reports and performance metrics.
- Drive cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
