About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and customer-focused Sales Executive to promote and sell handcrafted and designer sarees at exhibitions, trade fairs, and pop-up events. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to engage customers and convert inquiries into sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and interact with visitors at the exhibition stall.
* Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable sarees.
* Effectively present product features, craftsmanship, fabric details, and pricing.
* Convince customers and close sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
* Maintain a professional and attractive display of sarees throughout the exhibition.
* Unfold, display, drape (if required), neatly fold, and arrange sarees after customer viewing.
* Record customer details, inquiries, and purchase preferences accurately for future follow-up.
* Collect contact information of potential customers and maintain a lead database.
* Assist in billing, order booking, and inventory tracking during exhibitions.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of the stall and merchandise.
* Support packing, unpacking, and winding up of products before and after exhibitions.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
* Prior experience in saree, ethnic wear, fashion, textile, retail, or exhibition sales preferred.
* Confident in interacting with customers and handling sales conversations.
* Strong communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and basic English.
* Good understanding of saree fabrics, designs, draping styles, and fashion trends is an advantage.
* Smart, presentable, and customer-oriented personality.
* Ability to stand and work for extended hours during exhibitions.
* Organized and detail-oriented in maintaining customer records and leads.
* Positive attitude and strong sales mindset.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹33,791.51 per month
