Job Title: Senior 3D Artist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior 3D Artist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior 3D Artist, you will be responsible for applying your expertise and skills to complete assigned work in your area of specialization. You will work closely with the team and collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Apply your extensive experience and skills in 3D art to complete assigned tasks within your area of expertise.
- High-End Product Rendering: Take the lead on producing exceptionally high-quality, photorealistic product renders, ensuring every detail from surface textures to complex lighting accurately reflects the physical product.
- Maintain up-to-date licenses, training, and certifications as required to stay current with industry standards and advancements.
- Scoping: Review the requirements necessary to initiate the execution of tickets, including VASDs, Briefs, submission forms, templates, and designs. The primary aim of this task is to evaluate the level of effort (LOE) required for each project.
- Ticket Handoffs: Create namings, metadata, and job links for the final visuals to ensure that the tickets are correctly handed off.
- Work in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in your work.
- Demonstrate a moderate degree of supervision, showing the ability to work independently while seeking guidance and input when necessary.
- Utilize analytical skills and apply scientific methods to perform a variety of activities, such as problem-solving, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows.
- Develop a solid understanding of how your team integrates with other departments and collaborate effectively to achieve project goals.
- Recognize and solve typical problems that may arise in your work area without requiring supervisory approval, evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and scientific methods.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to exchange information, collaborate with team members, and effectively convey ideas and feedback.
- AI Integration for Post-Production: Stay up to date on AI tools within daily 3D production workflows to enhance efficiency, realism, and visual quality. Apply AI-based techniques specifically to enhance 3D renders in post-production while ensuring outputs meet established visual, technical, and brand standards. Apply sound professional judgment to ensure all AI usage aligns with organizational guidelines, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a 3D artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Expert-Level Blender Proficiency: Deep, specialized understanding of the industry-standard 3D software Blender. Must possess advanced knowledge of Cycles rendering, node-based material creation (shading), precise UV mapping, and complex studio lighting setups specifically tailored for hyper-realistic product visualizations.
- Solid understanding of the entire 3D production pipeline, from concept development to final delivery.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and best practices in 3D art.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply scientific methods to overcome challenges and optimize workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
