JOB DESCRIPTION – TGT HISTORY TEACHER
Position: TGT – History Teacher
Location: Velammal Vidyalaya, Paruthipattu Campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging History lessons for middle and secondary school students.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching materials in accordance with the curriculum.
- Encourage critical thinking and foster students' interest in historical events and cultures.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive learning environment.
- Participate in school activities, examinations, and parent-teacher meetings.
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in History with B.Ed.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in English and educational technology.
