An Interior Site Engineer manages daily site execution, material coordination, and contractor supervision for commercial and residential projects. Key responsibilities include reading drawings, conducting site measurements, monitoring quality, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with design specifications to deliver projects on time, often requiring expertise in modular kitchens, false ceilings, and flooring.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Site Supervision: Monitoring day-to-day interior fit-out work to ensure compliance with design drawings and quality standards.
- Project Management: Developing and adhering to project schedules, tracking material deliveries, and managing labor.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in interpreting 2D/3D drawings (AutoCAD) and executing on-site modifications.
- Measurement & Reporting: Taking accurate site measurements (furniture, civil) and providing daily/weekly progress updates to managers.
- Coordination: Acting as the link between design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Common Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design.
- Experience: Ranging from freshers to 3 years of experience in interior project execution.
- Tools: Knowledge of MS Office for reporting and AutoCAD for reading drawings.
