Job Summary
True Reckoner Advisory Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our US Accounting team. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and accounting software, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with US-based clients and gain exposure to international accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Record, classify, and maintain financial transactions accurately.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Assist in taxation-related activities and financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare MIS reports and management reports using MS Excel.
- Work on accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Sage, SAP, MYOB, Yardi, Odoo, Oracle, Wave, ClearBooks, and similar platforms.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with clients to collect financial information, resolve queries, and provide regular updates.
- Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Stay updated with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Com (Hons.), B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
- Strong academic background in Accounting and Finance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, Sage, SAP, MYOB, Yardi, Odoo, Oracle, Wave, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Experience
- 1 Year to 3 years of hands-on experience in US Accounting processes, including Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Experience in a CA Firm, International Accounting Firm, KPO, or US Accounting environment will be preferred.
- Experience in handling international clients and accounting software will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong academic record in Accounting and Finance.
- Prior experience in Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, and Taxation.
- Candidates pursuing CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CS qualifications will be given preference.
